Mayor Dick Miller proclaimed this November 16th - 22nd, 2008 the first ever "Kindness Kampaign Week" in Greenville.
During the week, the students are working on having a table with information at Greenville High School through the Kids That Care organization during lunch hour etc...
Students will be making extra effort to spread "Kindness Kampaign" notes all week as well.
They will finish week with their "Youth - Walk For The Homeless" 9am registration and 10am start this Saturday the 22nd. ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN AS WELL, regardless of your age! :o) It has been confirmed their soup lunch at Good Shepherd will end with a talk and challenge from a woman who was once homeless.
If you or your organization have any other ideas or input for the group...please let me know.
This is something Greenville, Pennsylvania can be really proud of! There has never been a Kindness Kampaign website and there has never been a Kindness Kampaign in our country, from what we have found out. Interest is being generated from all over by the simple act of caring these kids have begun.
Thanks for your support and prayers!
John O'Malley
Mentor of the Kindness Kampaign
